CULTURAL EXPLORER TOURS
Enjoy the artistic side with a cultural experience in Gros Morne National Park
The Cultural Tour is an amazing way to get an insider's perspective of the rich history, deep rooted traditions and artistic inspiration that immerses Gros Morne National Park. On this full day experience we explore a specific community in the park and dig deeper to unravel life in the community. Each day trip features a scenic community trail hike or walk 1-6 km, lunch at a local café or custom packed lunch and an artist studio visit. We feature tours to three different regions of the park, North (Western Brook and Rocky Harbour), Central (Norris Point and Rocky Harbour) and South (Woody Point and Trout River).
Hike the Tablelands or the Little Lookout trail with panoramic views of the park. Explore the Discovery Center and take an Artist Studio Tour, folk art, rug hooking, quilting, and fine art in Woody Point.
GROS MORNE CENTRAL
Hike the Tablelands, explore the fishing community of Trout River, walk along the boardwalk and hike Eastern Point Trail with panoramic views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Boat tour on Western Brook Fjord. Walk back millennia and find fossils at Green Point geological site. Learn about the coastal landscape and local musical history at Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse.
